120 deer comfortably settled on one of the farms in the Nizhny Novgorod region in Bor district. Breeding noble horned animals engaged in the farm "Ivanovo". The farm’s management plans to increase the number of deer to one thousand and regularly provide the domestic Russian and foreign world markets with high-quality deer meat and animal horns with a certain healing power.

Before starting the agricultural breeding of deer, representatives of the farm leadership got acquainted with the positive experience in this industry with Altai and Baltic colleagues. And today, they say on the farm, a unique deer feeding system operates in Ivanovsky, and all the nuances and stages of keeping horned animals are carefully thought out.

“The state provided substantial material support to us,” they say to the farmer. “By combining our forces and the help of the authorities, we were able to build an ultramodern farm with grassy plants for deer feed, spacious enclosures for walking and comfortable stalls for keeping animals in the cold season on a once-abandoned wooded area of ​​200 hectares.”
