It is no longer a secret to anyone that the African swine fever virus provoked an acute shortage of meat such as pork in the territory of the People’s Republic of China.
In this regard, the country's government made a balanced decision - to re-preserve the strategic reserves of this meat, which are contained in specialized storage depots.
It is reported that the state-owned company is already ready to send about ten thousand tons of frozen meat from the state stock to the mandatory auction in this case. It is noteworthy that the data was created specifically for reconservation in such situations.
It will not be superfluous to note that strict state control will operate within the framework of the auction. Each bidder is entitled to a maximum of three hundred tons of meat. In this case, they assure the government of the People’s Republic of China, pork should be enough for everyone.
You can also add that recently, pork prices on Chinese shelves have increased significantly. And in this case, analysts make the assumption that the auction will help reduce the hype among consumers and, thereby, stabilize prices.
