Recently it became known that the number of cattle in the assets of agricultural enterprises of the Republic of Chechnya over the past year increased by more than sixteen and a half percent.
It is also important to note that from July 2018 to the present, the number of Chechen horses has also increased - a livestock growth of almost twenty-three percent has been recorded. As for poultry, here too the Chechen farmers succeeded, having managed to add about twelve percent in twelve months.
However, as far as the numbers of goats and sheep are concerned, one cannot speak of an increase in numbers - here, on the contrary, there is a decrease in the number by more than thirty-one percent.
It is also important to add that in the first half of this year, the volume of production of farm animals for subsequent slaughter in the Chechen open spaces went up by almost five percent and amounted to about seven hundred and seventy tons.
It should also be noted that over the past six months, milk yields in republican farms have also increased. So, from January to June 2019, Chechen burenki awarded milkmaids twelve thousand and fifty-four tons of milk.
As a result, each cow on average produced about three thousand two hundred kilograms of product over six months. For clarity, it should be noted that at the end of 2018, the average Chechen cow gave an average of fifty-four kilograms less milk.
