The vigilant sentinels did not stop there and banned subsequent deliveries of pork and pigs from the same provinces from which the “non-passing” goods arrived.

Based on this fact, experts banned the import of live animals into Russia, as well as slaughter products of pigs, pork, and products that contain pork. As an exception, only those products that went through all stages of careful processing in accordance with technologies that destroy the genome of the swine plague virus with a 100% guarantee were mentioned.
It is noteworthy that the workers of the Rosselkhoznadzor did not stop with just meat and live pigs and imposed a taboo (or partial restrictions) on the import of used equipment and special equipment for keeping pigs, their slaughter and butchering pork carcasses from Japanese potentially dangerous prefectures.
