On June 29, wheat fields burned twice in the territory of the village of Peski, Bashtansky district, Nikolaev region.
The employees of the rescue team extinguished the fires that occurred in the fields, as reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine in the Nikolaev Region.
Information about the fire of a wheat field near the village of Peski in the Bashtansky district was received by rescuers. Employees of the duty department of the 7th State Fire and Rescue Unit were able to quickly localize the fire and eliminate it on an area of 14 hectares.
Rescuers also prevented the further spread of fire on crops and saved 26 hectares of wheat from the flame. To combat the fire were involved: 1 unit of fire-rescue equipment and 6 personnel, in addition from the state of emergency "Golovchenko" came two tractors with discs, one tractor brought a barrel and another car came with a barrel.
Earlier it was reported that in the Nikolaev area for one day, on June 25, in three areas 33 hectares of wheat and dead wood burned down. The fiery element swept the fields on which crops were grown.
The total area of wheat burnt at the root in the Berezansky, Bratsky and Arbuzinsky districts of the Nikolaev region amounted to 33.5 hectares.
