In the open spaces of the Moscow Region, work on the construction of a unique veterinary laboratory will very soon begin. The specialization of this center will focus on a wide range of research in the animal health industry.At the moment, a plan of laboratory facilities is being developed, the necessary communication is being calculated, design work is underway. About in which corner of the Moscow region this laboratory complex will appear, has not yet been reported. However, information that the center will be built and will begin to function in the near future, said Andrei Razin, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region.

He noted that today the question of accrediting the center for various types of laboratory veterinary research remains open. At the same time, the Minister emphasized that the opening of a center for a wide range of laboratory services will not affect the work of other state veterinary laboratories in the region. However, with the advent of the new center, the laboratories operating today will take on the so-called “routine research”, while the new center will deal with unique, innovative laboratory manipulations.
