More than 70% of the success of the poultry industry is reduced to creating optimal conditions for keeping highly productive poultry. This applies to feeding, care and maintenance. A special role is played by the veterinary protection of bird stock.

The cultivation of modern highly productive crosses of chickens requires strict adherence to veterinary technology, otherwise the overall resistance of the bird decreases, and immunity decreases.

During microbiological monitoring in the poultry farms of Ukraine, a wide spread of bacterial diseases was revealed. One part of these pathogens causes respiratory syndrome, and the other causes the gastrointestinal syndrome in birds.

Outbreaks of any bacterial diseases lead to significant economic losses, as poultry productivity decreases and there is a need for additional costs for veterinary drugs and the recovery period.
