In the near future, a unique agricultural complex may appear in the vastness of the Jewish Autonomous Okrug of the Russian Federation.
We are talking about a large-scale farm, the initiators of the construction of which were investors from China. It is known that the entrepreneurs of the sub-provincial city of Harbin intend to invest about twelve billion rubles in the implementation of their project, hoping to obtain suitable land resources in the Smidovichi district of the okrug.
Such information was shared with the public by the head of the regional administration of the EAO, Alexander Levintal.
He also added that the farm, which is currently under negotiation from the Chinese side, will launch on the market both meat and dairy products and feed for farm animals. Presumably, the products will be sent to the market of the city of Khabarovsk, which is likely to provide the new enterprise with high demand.
According to Alexander Levintal, the Chinese company, which intends to build a unique complex in the Jewish Autonomous Okrug, will not be the first to implement its potentially profitable and promising projects in the Khabarovsk Territory.
It is known that this company today is also considering the possibility of implementing another plan - the construction of a large logistics hub for grain transshipment at the border of the okrug with the People’s Republic of China.
However, for now, the priority task of Chinese investors and their Russian colleagues is to find a suitable land for the construction of an environmentally friendly large-scale farm.
