The other day in Taiwan they sounded the alarm - a tourist brought with him from China a sausage infected with a dangerous African swine plague virus. As a result of the investigation, it was possible to establish: the product was manufactured by the leader in the global production of meat products.

According to the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Taiwan, it was the Chinese corporation WH Group that produced the infected sausage, which came to their country as a tourist hotel.

“The WH Group is a giant in the global market for meat products,” said the deputy minister. “Fortunately, we conducted a thorough check of all products imported into our country and managed to stop the large deliveries of sausage infected with ASF to our counters!”

Meanwhile, in China, African swine fever massively sends hundreds of animals to the next world. The world community suspects that meat products infected with ASF are still being produced from slaughterhouses WH Group.

It should be noted that the WH Group holding includes American and Polish meat processing enterprises. Including Animex - a large-scale producer from Poland, which delivers sausages to European countries.
