There are only a few months left until the first city rooftop garden opens in the very heart of the French capital at a bird's eye view.
It is reported that the city garden oasis will operate over a huge exhibition center. Its area will be about fourteen thousand square meters. And now the world community is saying that the Paris city garden will be an unprecedented event that has no analogues on the whole planet.
According to the organizers, over thirty species of various crops will be grown in the garden. At the height of the harvest season, they intend to collect about a thousand kilos of various fruits and vegetables daily.
Two dozen specially trained skilled workers will take care of the garden. Their methods, the organizers convince, will be based solely on the principles of organic gardening.
It is noteworthy that next to the farm on the roof there will be a restaurant whose specialties will be prepared from seasonal fruits grown here on roof beds.
It will not be superfluous to note that all Parisians who wish can rent small areas in the city's rooftop garden and get the opportunity to grow their own fruits and vegetables in specially designed wooden box-beds.
