Collect dandelion flowers for the preparation of honey, should be away from highways, places of industrial dumping, in the city, etc.
To collect raw materials, it is better to get out of the city, where flowers grow in more environmentally friendly conditions.
You can cook dandelion honey only from yellow petals, completely removing the green part located around - sepals. In this case, the flowers just need to be washed under running water, soaking is not necessary, as they will not give bitterness.
Important! By autumn, up to 40% of inulin, a natural prebiotic, accumulates in the root of the dandelion. Dried root medicines are used for improve digestion and as a choleretic agent that heals the liver.
