In the village of Stanislav, located in the Belozersky district of the Kherson region, a private enterprise for the production of pickles from local tomatoes has long been operating.
These products are so high-quality, assure those who had the chance to try pickled tomatoes, and therefore are in great demand among residents of the Kherson region and Ukraine as a whole. But not so long ago, manufacturers decided to expand their capabilities and entered the international level: thanks to the assistance of Kiev entrepreneurs, Kherson pickles crossed the ocean and ended up on the shelves of Canada.
Today, Kherson marinades can be found on the shelves of supermarkets in Saskatchewan. The very one where hundreds of families of ethnic Ukrainians live today.

According to the head of the enterprise from the village of Stanislav, the range of their activities includes the conservation of not only tomatoes, but also cucumbers and beans. The company's employees also make lecho and gas stations. But it was Kherson tomatoes in an unusually delicious marinade that won the hearts of both Ukrainians and residents of Canada. The sales volumes are another proof of this - according to Anatoly Pak, the head of the enterprise, this year they managed to sell about forty thousand cans of tomato preservation in the domestic and foreign markets. The volume of each can is three liters.
“I would like to sell more and delight fans of our products,” says Pak. “But this year, the crop was less than we expected.” I even had to buy tomatoes in neighboring areas of our region. ”
