As noted in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, the development of superintensive gardens is actively developing in the region and every week it reaches a qualitatively new level.
According to the agency, today the territories of such gardens cover vast territories with a total area of 234 hectares. This is despite the fact that two years ago the area of super-intensive gardens in the Stavropol Territory did not exceed a dozen hectares.
In 2019, farmers in the region are seriously committed to expanding the scale of super-intensive gardens by another five hundred hectares. Note that most of the gardens of this type are laid in the Stavropol Territory in the territories that are part of the land assets of large agricultural organizations. But small forms of farming are trying to keep up with the pace of development and are also actively laying super-intensive gardens. According to experts, from each hectare of super-intensive type garden it will be possible to collect about 50 tons of crops per season.
It will not be superfluous to note that today the Stavropol agrarians not only develop a unique type of gardening, but are also interested in the achievements of foreign colleagues in the super-intensive industry in order to turn the Stavropol Territory into a real cradle of a super-intensive garden harvest over time.
