By the end of this year, a new mushroom farm will be built on the territory of the city district Elektrostal. This fact will allow the Moscow Region to maintain leadership in the production of mushrooms in the Russian Federation.

According to the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Andrei Razin, work on the construction of the facility is in full swing. True, builders complain about the difficult situation with soils, but now the thermal circuit is being closed. It is planned that by the end of 2019 the complex will begin its work.

The Minister personally ascertained the quality of the construction of the mushroom farm. He said that the foundation has already been poured, communications have been made, the roof is being mounted. Royal mushrooms as well as white and brown champignons will be grown here.

Razin noted that about 2 billion rubles were invested in the project. Together with the construction of the mushroom complex, work is underway to improve the surrounding area, where there will be greenhouses for growing berry and vegetable crops.

The design capacity of the mushroom farm will be at least 5 thousand tons of fresh mushrooms per year.

According to Andrey Razin, the object is of great value to the region. Now it is a leader in the production of mushrooms in Russia, and this farm will allow the Moscow Region to maintain its position.
