Roskachestvo experts conducted raids on grocery stores in Russia and other points of domestic retail sale. Dumplings became the object of research of specialists, the assortment of which is presented in refrigerators of small shops in abundance.

As a result of careful analysis of samples taken from grocery stores, it was revealed that all dumplings in retail sales cannot be called a high-quality product.

Almost every sample showed antibiotic residues in the meat filling, as well as thickeners and starch, not indicated on the label. In many samples there was meat not declared in the composition. For example, chicken dumplings and artificial substitutes for soy meat were found in dumplings with the claimed pork filling.

None of the test samples falls short of state quality standards.

Manufacturers of such dumplings in their defense noted that such results are the result of weak control in the workplace. Manufacturers promised to rectify the situation in a short time, change suppliers and strengthen control over the manufacture of products.
