Over the next five years, Corteva Agriscience plans to increase the capacity of the Stasі Nasinnya seed complex (the village of Stasy Dikansky district of the Poltava region) by 20-30%.
Now its capacity is 500 thousand sowing units of corn seeds and 200 thousand sowing units of sunflower seeds, company representatives said.
Starting today, Stasі Nasinnya will operate under the new corporate name Corteva Agriscience. The plant produces Pioneer and Brevant Seeds maize and sunflower seeds, and also packs Brevant Seeds brand seeds using innovative Easy Open technology.
Recall that in early June of this year, Corteva Agriscience completed its separation from DowDuPont and began trading in the company's shares on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the new symbol CTVA.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrlendfarming agricultural holding became the absolute leader in the industrial production of seeds in Ukraine. The company is engaged in the production of seeds of major crops on an industrial scale on an ongoing basis.
To do this, on the lands of clusters in the regions, lands with the best predecessors and good soil are allocated for seed cultivation.
