In the Rivne region, the budget committee of the city council considered a draft decision on amendments to the city budget for 2019. Now pesticides are located in the micro-district Tynnom.

During the inspection, employees of the Rivne State Emergency Service found that pesticides have been stored in 7 concrete-polymer containers for more than 20 years, where there are more than 6 tons of toxic chemicals unsuitable for use.

According to the results of the research, the workers of the regional laboratory center of organochlorine, organophosphorus pesticides and synthetic pyrethroids were not found near the containers.

In such containers, pesticides can be stored for more than a hundred years, but over time they can be destroyed. Therefore, representatives of the emergency department of Rivne advise to remove these containers from Tynnoye as soon as possible.

Utilization of pesticides and agrochemicals is carried out by Eco-Nova LLC, which is located in the city of Baranovka, Zhytomyr Region. Now it does not work, but management agreed to pick up containers of pesticides from Tynnoye for storage at the plant. In order for them to transport containers, about 402 thousand UAH are needed.

The deputies decided that the mayor should file an official request with Eco-Nova LLC, that the plant is really ready to take pesticides for storage. After the plant officially agrees to store 7 containers of pesticides, the commission will once again consider the allocation of funds.

In addition, containers with pesticides are also available at the warehouse of the former collective farm in the Basov Kut region in Rivne and in Great Omelyan.
