Employees of a mushroom farm in the Kiev region managed to grow the largest mushroom in Ukraine. Champion Champion has 3,820 kg of weight.

Mushroom farm "Mushrooms of Ukraine" from the Kiev region became famous for having received a giant mushroom. The diameter of the cap is 39 cm.

Representatives of the Book of Records of Ukraine left for the place of growing miracle champignon, where they registered a record. One such mushroom can feed a dozen people, the head of the National Register of Records Lana Vetrova does not hide her admiration.

For information, about 200 species of champignons are currently known. These mushrooms prefer to grow on well-fertilized, man-made soils. They are distributed practically throughout the world: in Eurasia, Africa and Australia. Champignons are the most popular and cultivated mushrooms in the world.

Food mushrooms are good for humans. They contain 20 amino acids, including all essential ones: methionine, tryptophan, lysine, cysteine, threonine, cystine, valine and phenylalanine. But not all champignons are equally edible. There are conditionally edible non-edible species, as well as fungi that accumulate toxins. An antibiotic is isolated from some champignons.
